2024 Outdoor Program
SEASON STARTS Wednesday, MAY 1st!
Registration is now open and all players, coaches, and support personnel will need to complete a registration on our website as part of the SSA requirements. www.melfortyouthsoccer.ca
We are only offering our regular house league this year!
Everyone will play at the Spruce Haven soccer pitches, on Monday and Wednesday!
Season will run from May 1st - June 19th. With Soccer Fest being on Saturday, June 22nd! Please mark your calender! More details on this will be sent out once league starts! If you are interested in being on the committee to plan this event, please let Lisa know!
U5 (born in 2019 or 2020) *Must be 4 by April 30th - 5:45-6:15 pm
U7 (born in 2017 or 2018) - 5:45-6:30 pm
U9 (born in 2015 or 2016) - 6:30-7:30 pm
U11 (born in 2013 or 2014) - 6:30-7:30 pm
U13 (born in 2011 or 2012) - 6:30-7:30 pm
U15 (born in 2009 or 2010) - 6:30-7:30 pm
The fee for each group is $125.00. All payments can be sent to melfortyouthsoccer@gmail.com. If you are requesting Kidsport or Jumpstart, please indicate that on the registration form. Fees are due April 5th without penalty.
Registration closes April 5th. Then there will be a late fee of $50. We will NOT be accepting any new registrations after April 12th.
We will be offering all the above age groups. However, number or registrations will determine if that team is able to continue this season.
We do require a couple helpers for each group to help make the practices run efficiently. Without enough volunteers, some age groups may not be able to run! If you are interested in helping out, please let us know! A criminal record check is required.
This season we will be handing out only jerseys to everyone. They will be handed out to coaches within the first few practices.
Please make sure your child comes with shoes/cleats, shin pads, a water bottle and a soccer ball. Please label your things. For ages U7 and high, shin pads are mandatory! If you do not have any, the coach may as you to sit on the sidelines for your safety.
Balls (please have the correct size ball for your child)
*U5 - Tim Hortons will be supplying a ball for your child*

U9 and U11 - Size 4
U13+ - Size 5
Games This Year
We are hoping to set up a mini league between a few communities in the North for U7-U15 teams. These games won’t be on a regular practice day so wont affect our regular days. More details on this will come once the season starts. Sign up will be first come first serve on google doc style document.
